Contributors

Shwmae.Wales is proud to host a number of guest writers, contributors and bloggers. Here is a little more about each of them:

Editor – MJW

Our Editor Matt enjoys writing, poetry, sports and talking about himself in the third person. Matt has been working on another blog for a number of years (www.mjw.wales), before he had the inspiration to create Shwmae.

Much of the content from that site has been migrated to Shwmae, including work he did with Panasonic, John Lewis, LEGO and other brands. Matt is also a keen family man, gamer, and sports fan.

You can contact the Editor by clicking here.

Lucy Taylor

I’m Lucy, I’m 25 and from Newport. I’m a blogger/freelance writer looking to get into the writing game.

I am an avid Liverpool FC supporter so they take up my weekends!

Steve Andrews

Often compared with Neil Young, Steve Andrews is an eclectic singer-songwriter and author, originally from Cardiff. He is also known as the Bard of Ely and Green Bard, and he has a green beard. He has performed at the Green Man and Glastonbury Festivals and was an MC at both events as well. In 2017, he was a finalist in the Best Solo Act category of the Cardiff Music Awards. Andrews has been featured on the Britain’s Got Talent TV show and his performance was extensively written about in the press as he annoyed Simon Cowell when he got a lot of the audience up on stage.

Simon Holdingguest writer

I live with my wife and two young daughters, in Buckinghamshire, and we also have 7 guinea pigs! In my spare time, I do a bit of Presenting, Hosting and Compering of Shows and Events, I also take the guinea pigs into schools and nurseries and do ‘show and tells’ with them, quite light-hearted indeed.

I have researched my family history for the past 15 years and have numerous Welsh links. I can be found on Twitter: @simonGPman – do please find me and Follow me !

The picture is of me taken at one of the recent Shows I hosted, a Talent Show. I even have a catch-phrase………I say to the audience “Who’s Got Talent?” and they all shout back “Not You Mate!” – that always gets a laugh. Actually, I am quite good.
